The greatest question in human history is Jesus’ asking, “Who do you say that I am?” Regardless of whether the question was asked literally or not, the responses from those who recognized Jesus as the Christ was amazing. What is your response to that question? How are you seeing Jesus today?

Throughout the Gospels we see Jesus causing amazement, but why? Should we still expect people to be amazed today? Are we?

Amazed? Everywhere Jesus went He got a reaction.For the most part, that reaction was amazement. Should we expect anything less today?

Everyone needs a refuge. Our hearts long for a place to belong, be ourself, relax,and enjoy peace. That is what Jesus provided at the cross. He provided more than a geographical place. He provided a relationship with the Father that is accepting, loving, and nurturing. He opened the door to life and closed the door to death.
